Did this game end much later than I thought, or is the coverage of the Georgia game this week utterly pathetic. A staff writer? And, what has happened to the "North Georgia" edition of the newpapapr I receive every day. Quite simply, I only purchase the paper for the sports section -- seriously. If y'all can't do any better than this, I really don't need the paper.
Once again, David (and Wes), your QB ratings in today's paper for Georgia and Tennessee are puzzling. It appears that Matt Simms, despite "not having a big day," and throwing no touchdowns, gets an "up" arrow for "standing tall in the pocket" and getting sacked 4.5 times. Maybe he was holding on to the ball too long. Pray tell, what will Aaron Murray have to do to win your approval?
Go Dawgs !!!!
David, I have to disagree with your assessment of Aaron Murray's play in today's paper -- especially when giving Chris Simms the "up" arrow. Their numbers (both pretty good) are virtually identical and Simms TDs coming against UAB. How many yards did he rush for? Murray had no picks either. Bottom line is that Murray is a rare bright spot for us this year. Not trying to grasp at straws, but Georgia has lost none of these games because of Aaron Murray. Just sayin' ...
