Wonderful article David Cook! I have to agree with everyone else on this, with the exception to the ignorant comments made by librul, that these dogs are very misunderstood by the majority of the public, which is very sad!! People are too quick to believe everything they hear instead of doing actual research. There are several different ways in which a person could knowledge themselves on these dogs, like several before me stated, like volunteering at your local animal shelter, get involved do your part before passing judgement. BSL is NOT the way to go!! This not only hurts the very dog in question, but any other breed that looks remotely similar, and there are many, many that are out there. Each dog is an individual, just like every human is an individual. Just because there are several bad people in this world, does that mean that we all should pay the price for what that person has done? If someone commits murder, does that mean we should all be put to death? All these dogs want is to be loved and they should never have to pay the price for the actions of their irresponsible owners!!
