I suspect that Mr. Kennedy carried a great amount of guilt his entire life. (Not to mention the guilt in God's eyes over the role he played in that accident at Chappaquidick and its aftermath) He did not deserve the wealth and position to which he was born; but who does? One of his problems was that he attempted to drag down others who had actually earned what they had, via taxes and regulation, for the alleged goal of "benefiting the less fortunate", etc.
In my opinion, it is shocking and a very sad commentary on this once great nation that such a scoundrel as Senator Kennedy is held up as a hero.
Who sees a problem here? If you are of a criminal inclination you will just ignore the law. So this tells the law-abiding people where to stay away from. Criminals are not stupid enough to go rob an establishment where it is likely that they might be opposed with deadly force.
