I will ofter glance at obits. I feel sorry for elderly women who pass from this life having married, x number of children, grand, and great grandchildren; can't use a computer and their obit is written by a software program. My mother left us in '06, age 96 and had nearly 300 people at her wake. When the amb. picked up her body they wanted info. I gave them a fully typed out long obit. She had a 6th grade edu,(things you do not see in obit) and left a Century farm valued at 1.5 million on the Hiwassee River. She was my mentor. Lost my husband 10/8/11. He donated his body to UT Medical Center in Memphis. Very Civic minded, Graduated from Choate HS (same school JFK graduated), Cleve. Banner would not run his obit that I had written. Obit had to come from a funeral home. Had UT email them in order to get into newsp. I'm sure you did not know that. I've been one of those people that have proven one person can do a lot of things. I'm 78 below the ears, and feed my brain every morning before I feed my body. Thanks for tell- ing people the importance of why they should not forget what we did here. hvm
