Thanks for the comments...maybe TFP is trying to quell some of the more 'colorful' rhetoric by humanizing the posters. I don't know. I'm partial to 'spineless sack of crap,' myself. NOT directed toward you! Al seems to have an arsenal.
I'm thinking about rotating icons. Go ahead, pick one out, run it up the flagpole and see if anyone salutes. If you don't like it, change it tomorrow!
Thanks for the comments. Yes, the new networking is fun, isn't it? They must really like us here at TFP; they certainly are treating us well! I can't wait to see what other creative avatars people come up with. Mine is kind of boring, not a lot I can do with my username.
So you left Colorado and ended up in Tennessee? What happened, you decided that you wanted to go back to eating your oxygen with a spoon? The air seems very thick in humid sea level environs To me now.
It's so nice of you to drop me a line. I'm reading the comments periodically, but I'm determined not to let myself get sucked into a long, time-consuming debate; my work won't do itself! However, a friendly 'voice' is a distraction that I always welcome. I hope you're doing well.
Although I love all my military men/women I would have to say my favorite US Army MOS would be infantry due to them being directly on the front lines plus it doesn't hurt that the uniforms (particularly Desert Camouflage)and combat boots make my mouth water, yum yum. I also have a special place in my heart for our Air defense. I did JROTC-ARMY in high school (Charlie Company Commander) and had planned to join the military after school but I went to college instead, and just plain chickened out haha.A strange but good question to ask, why?
Thanks for such a sweet reply, your going to spoil me :) It's great having you as a friend as well and I look forward to getting to know you better. That's soo cool that you also did JROTC as well, it's was like a brotherhood for me, I loved it! I live at the foot of Signal Mtn, beautiful views!

Thank you both for such kind words of support.
Nixon?
Thanks for the link, that was very thoughtful of you. I think their site must have been down, but I will try again when I get a chance.
Is that Truman? I can't wait to see what you come up with next!
