If I was to write an article on something I had no previous knowledge of I would do research in at least a basic background of the culture and subcultures of what I'm writing about. Traveling Kids- are kids who travel by hitch hiking or hopping trains, not a subculture of the punk scene it's a subculture of it's own. DIY- is a subculture of it's own as well, being of people dedicated to doing stuff for themselves not relying on the mainstream way of producing products or services. Such as making your own goods like; clothing, paper, records, books, soap and doing there own services like dentistry or health care. The punk culture is a large one and while there is a lot of subcultures attached to it, none represent the whole. Remeber you should look at people idividualy and think for yourself.
