A sign I would like to see on the front lawn of CONSERVATIVE'S house:

"CONSERVATIVE will never be able to feel comfortable anywhere, because he is a self-loathing, raging, closet case. And secretly in love with Ken Orr."

And once again, CONSERVATIVE, you harp on homosexuality and yet you give no answer to the fact that Leviticus ALSO condemns eating shellfish, shaving, getting a haircut, eating pork, taking the Lord's name in vain, and adultery (those last two are capital offenses, folks) as abominations against God. Or that Leviticus sanctions slavery. (Although I'm guessing you like that one. wink) Until you explain why these abominations, clearly listed in your Holy book, are not also on your Holier-than-thou radar, please shut your hypocritical mouth. You fundies can't have it both ways.

That's because you have cherry picked the gospel to meet your own ends, Conservative.

Well, CONSERVATIVE, the Bible is "actually" clear on a lot of things.

Don't let cattle graze with other kinds of cattle (Leviticus 19:19)

Don't have a variety of crops on the same field. (Leviticus 19:19)

Don't wear clothes made of more than one fabric (Leviticus 19:19)

Don't cut your hair nor shave. (Leviticus 19:27)

Any person who curseth his mother or father, must be killed. (Leviticus 20:9)

If a man cheats on his wife, or vise versa, both the man and the woman must die. (Leviticus 20:10).

If a man sleeps with his father's wife... both he and his father's wife is to be put to death. (Leviticus 20:11)

If a man sleeps with his wife and her mother they are all to be burnt to death. (Leviticus 20:14)

If a man has sex with a woman on her period, they are both to be "cut off from their people" (Leviticus 20:18)

Psychics, wizards, and so on are to be stoned to death. (Leviticus 20:27)

If a priest's daughter is a whore, she is to be burnt at the stake. (Leviticus 21:9)

People who have flat noses, or are blind or lame, cannot go to an altar of God (Leviticus 21:17-18)

Anyone who curses or blasphemes God, should be stoned to death by the community. (Leviticus 24:14-16)

And yet, somehow people are not being asked to leave the church for either committing these offenses, or loving someone who does.

YOU OBVIOUSLY CHERRY PICK THE PASSAGES THAT YOU LIKE TO JUSTIFY YOUR HATRED.

NEWSFLASH- if your God hates all of the same people that you do, you have created HIM in YOUR image, not the other way around.

Conserve that, you hateful bigot.

Regis-

Given that the institution of marriage pre-dates your religion, IT IS NOT YOURS TO DEFINE.

It is telling that you use incestuous and polyamourous relationships as the end game to the slippery slope of moral depravity. It tells me that you have not bothered to read your own holy book, which is riddled with such relationships.

If your religious beliefs dictate that wearing blue jeans is a sin, and in doing so you will go to hell, then I imagine you would avoid wearing blue jeans. However, how does that give you the right to tell the rest of the world that they cannot wear blue jeans either?

I agree that the time has come to vote yes to marriage equality. But if history serves, it is also now time for Ken Orr and his GUT PARASITES diatribe...

Okay, so everyone who has commented so far that does not and has not fostered or adopted an unwanted child, please delete your comment and shut your yap. Anyone left besides me?

Ah, yes. Conservative is relying on good ol' Leviticus. Hmm... what else does Leviticus tell us?

Don't let cattle graze with other kinds of cattle (Leviticus 19:19)

Don't have a variety of crops on the same field. (Leviticus 19:19)

Don't wear clothes made of more than one fabric (Leviticus 19:19)

Anyone who curses or blasphemes God, should be stoned to death by the community. (Leviticus 24:14-16)

And yet, it seems, for Conservative, it's all about the sodomy. How nice to simply pick and choose passages from your holy book.

I'm pretty sure my future grandchildren will wonder why people were so adamant that allowing gay people to marry would end the institution of marriage altogether. In the same manner that we now accept interracial marriage (well, those of us who actually do, and are not secretly being horrid racists), I hope the same will be said about marriage equality.

Dr. Close, you state that litigious patients are why the costs of health care are so overblown. I want to know why health institutions are allowed to charge such ridiculous amounts for things that are basic. Like when I went to the emergency room for a sprain and was given two plain ol' Tylenol capsules, for which my insurance company was charged $8.00. For two Tylenol. Not Tylonel 3 with codeine, just the same over the counter medicine I had in my purse at the time. For pills that with $8.00 I could have bought at least 500 if not more. How is that fair? And then there's the medical group with which you yourself have been associated. I had the flu last year and I was miserable. I went in to be seen by a doctor and was subjected to a flu test, and the results were negative. However I was told that "we treat the patient, not test results," and I was prescribed Tamiflu, took it, and got better very quickly. I knew I had the flu. The doctor knew I had the flu. So why did I have to take a flu test if he was going to treat me for the flu anyway? Because that medical group got to charge a tidy sum for administering a flu test to me. Is it fair for me to expect you to take a pay cut? Well, when you collude with health institutions and other companies in price gouging, price fixing, and charging for unnecessary tests or procedures, then yes, I believe it is fair.
