I think they should reinstate the permit for TVA. With the economy as low as it is right now, reinstating that permit would put people back to work. I also think that TVA should finish this project if they are wanting to get their permit reinstated. There would be no reason for reinstatement if they are not going to finish this project. My fiance and mother work for Local #386 out of Madison, TN and this would give them the chance to have a job that would last for a while instead of going from TVA to TVA just doing outages. Finishing the units would also put people to work because they would need people in there to run the plant. They would need laborers, pipe-fitters, boiler-makers, carpenters, operators, electricians, etc. to run the plant, and also to do the outages when they have to shut down the units for repairs. So, all in all if the permit got reinstated and TVA went in and finished this project it would put thousands upon thousands of people back to work. It would be the best thing for the economy.
