Vandy should know that when you play late at night OWLS are very effective . . . . . . .the big question is, how could South Carolina ranked in the top 10 get hammered like that ?. . . .with Vandy and South Carolina's performance the East of the SEC ( the greatest conference of all-time, that ever lived and ever will be ) looks pretty weak

I really believed that USC's Josh Shaw saved his nephew's life. I saw a quote from Manti Te'o 's girlfriend who witnessed it. . . . .GAME DAY ! Mocs have tall task on the road as 14 point underdogs. . . . . . .You got to love Butchy ( Coach Slogan ) exagerrating the number of freshman UTK is playing. . . . Let the excuses begin . . ..

Guys, i dont understand why everyone is making UTAH STATE out to be this great team. It's UTAH STATE for crying out loud ! Not Utah of the Pac-12 ! If Butch Jones doesnt beat them by 3 or more Touchdowns its going to be a LONG season. . . .Its a home game, SEC school, etc. UTK should beat them by 3 or more TDs . . .And I know UTK is starting all these freshman, blah, blah, but heck everyone is starting alot of freshman this year, but arent these players part of these "great" recruiting classes ?. So please, let's all try and NOT use the Dooley, Hamilton, Kiffin, Fulmer, Counzo excuse this year, please

really enjoyed last nights performance by the BIG BLUE. McCallie should have a good team this year. Fun way to start the football season. Kudos to TFP for putting on the game. Wish more people would have come ( surprised by the low attendence ) but good times were had by the McCallie faithful !

Jay- awesome on the tickets GO BIG BLUE ! . . . In 10 years Johnny Manziel will have called off his wedding with a Kardashian sister after giving the finger to Bruce Jenner at an autograph show in Duluth , Minn for B-list former athletes. Jenner was making fun of Johnny for getting cut by Edmonton of the CFL after Johhny was filmed by a fan in Edmonton while Johnny was drunk and naked with 2 Eskimo coeds. A fight was avoided between Jenner and Johnny as they were seperated by Vince Young and the recently relased Maurice Clarett. Pete Rose never looked up from his autograph table until he heard that there would be a betting line on who would win the fight between the two. TMZ sports ( a new divison of ESPN ) had exclusive coverage of the ruckus with commentary from Tim Tebow who also interviewed Brian Bosworth who was an eye witness at the time , since no one was at his autograph table. Spokesman for Manziel issued a statement that due to this Johnny would be cancelling his speech the next week at the College Football Players Union Rally during their now 5 week long strike over issues that require players to receive additional royalties every time a college or university receives money from state and federal allocations and disputes over the players recieving a master degree without ever having to attend a class.

In 10 years the Power 5 football will have a 16 team playoff, The playoff will be sponsored by NETWORK TV , as technology will allow you to watch cable without paying. The conference networks will be gone as people can get it for free by stealing cable, a la Napster. Tickets to the game will be $200 to $500 and only corporates will afford it. Due to the loss of predicted Network fees, Giant buildings on campus will remain un-finished. Also player unions will demand a 50/50 split of ALL revenues, several strikes and work stoppages will insue. No players in the Power 5 will have to even attend class. Mike Slive and Tom Delaney will be hung in effigy. Players can transfer to other schools, even in mid-season and play immediately, . . . . basically the worst parts of the Old Testament. . . .It will get so bad that people will say " Remember Johnny "football" Manziel ? Now, there was a guy who played for love of the game " . . . . .thats what Power 5 football will look like in 10 years

Jay- just curious, but your response to the Mocs ranking in the polls was " you dont pay much attention to polls when there is a playoff" ? why is it different with FBS polls , since they now have a playoff ?

Do we really know that cable TV will be the end-all be-all in the future ? What happens if some providers go to cafeteria-style selection of what you pay for ? remember that just 10 years ago Wall Street predicted that cable was dead and streaming was the way to go ? My point is technology could change, to just say that in 10 years this will still be an ATM is rather bold. . . .but it might and I wish them all the luck in the world . . . remember when NASCAR was growing and was going to take over the sports world ?. . . there will be a bubble in this business just like every business in the USA since 1776
