Please get the facts correct. There are over 300 employees at Chattanooga's Shallowford Road Mail Processing and Distribution Center. Each and every one of them will be impacted by the closing. It doesn't matter if they take a position at another facility or not, they are adversely impacted. Any move, change in income, a home that must be sold, retirement, etc, when forced by a plant closure is a negative inpact on every employee and all their family members.
An earpiece (bluetooth) helps to make the cell phone easier to hear. But, not everyone want to wear one. It's good to see a company that's solving that problem for hearing and sight impared individuals.
I read the expanded article and don't understand why the server isn't being held responsible. If a server can't ask for ID, they don't need to work at selling alcohol. If the problem continues, then the restaurant doesn't need to sell alcohol....
What a bunch of bull. Shoppers won't change their shopping habits just because there is an "on line" store in town. They will continue to shop in their prefered mode. Those who shop on line will continue to do so, and those who like to brouse the malls will continue to do so too!
Why is everyone ignoring the obvious. Just shred the debit card and use cash instead. Stop the trend to a cashless society AND, there will be NO bank fees....
The medians on Cloud Springs Road are a joke. They have turned the road into a bi-directional racetrack! A turn lane, instead of a median, would have been much more appropriate for this residential area!
