Just to make sure things are clear, the Chamber of Commerce is a private, not-for-profit organization. It's not government-owned or -directed. The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce and the separate Multicultural Chamber get (or got) funding from Chattanooga and Hamilton County, but are separate from those governments.
