Excuse me,maggie11990 , but I will stand agreed with GodKnowsTheTruth, for that He does, and for which matter YOU do not. I could care very far less about your "so-called connections", if you will, rather, I have connections of my own, and her name is SHIPLEY ROSE BUCKNER, one of my closest and dearest friends. I knew Courtney as well, and you say she had the money and connections....but Shipley's family also certainly had both money and connections. Shouldn't you think that perhaps Jan and Ralph would have had the upper hand in such a situation as this? I do. You also say that you never knew those two girls. I DID. And one of the things that I will say about SRB is that she would NEVER succumb to drunk driving. We spent every summer together when I'd come home from college, and every time--My dear friend Shipley would come to pick me up. She didn't want me driving drunk, nor did she want me driving her drunk. And another thing that Shipley Rose would never do: step foot into a car to be driven by a drunk!! Shipley was careful. Also, Ship and Court snuck out regularly--during times that fell just close to midnight. Therefore, I would assume that the duo had left Rhodes' Hixon home sometime between 11 and 12. The accident occurred at approximately 12:53am, Maggie11990, which means that your "connection" was inaccurate in stating the time of the crash. I also have both money and connections, Maggie11990, and I know for a fact that the incident you've so poorly described is falsified. Courtney had NOT been drinking, or else Shipley would not have gotten into the car with her. Courntey turned her head to see what Shipley was doing in the backseat (changing her clothes) and before she knew it, she hit the tree, and my best friend was gone. When ambulances arrived, Courtney was trying to revive her dead friend. She was not drunk. And HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT RHODES MURDERED HER BEST FRIEND?? you are a moronic fool. I have known and loved Shipley Rose for years and years---and one thing that she ever wanted was the best for all. Shipley loved Courtney, and that is what really matters in any of this judgement. Shipley loved her, and would never wanting ANYONE to call Courtney a murderer.
