Gather them all up, put them all in one room, step back, let them kill each other off. Problem solved. The city would be much better off without the trash on the streets.

Georgia needs to follow Alabama's lead in regards to immigration laws. Look at the state of California, the deficits, who wants to be labeled such as that. And it will eventually happen in Georgia as it did in California if Georgia does not control it now. I had to laugh at the statement educate or incarcerate, how about DEPORT. What part of ILLEGAL do these states not understand. The majority of these folks are here ILLEGALLY...deport them. As citizens of this country we should worry about taking care of our own first, not Mexico's.

If anyone was surprised at this, they obviously do not keep up on voting records. As usual, the Dems want to continue to raise taxes and spend, spend, spend. The Reps want to cut taxes and cut, cut, cut. No compromise. I have never seen this country so divided. I know why it is, but cannot post for lack of space. Anyone that is reading this I would advise to become as independent as you possibly can. Try to be debt free and have the basic necessities put back that will last for at least a year. The days of the government taking care of the people are about to cease. I give it 18 months at the most. After this, who knows, but I truly believe folks will be on their own.

I think cigarettes should be outlawed period. No tax revenue for anyone. And while we are doing that, how about instead taxing obesity instead. Now that would certainly make Chattanooga shine. Outlaw all tobacco and alcohol products period in the city and at the same time tax all of the obese people 10% extra on all purchases. I bet that would encourage all to use the trails then, and since everything is banned in the city, I am sure we could cut some firemen, etc. a cost savings there. The parks should not have much litter so this should be a significant savings! Just this simple thing of outlawing products we should not be using anyway. What a brilliant idea!

This juvi needs to go to jail, a jail that will work his tail end off for about 10 years. No TV, no Bball, just plain old hard work. Perhaps he will think twice before he tries to act like a thug next time.

Public Housing? Wake up taxpayers, you are paying for boyfriends to lay with these women at your expense. Unfortunately the children pay the price, every time. Until women start acting responsibly this will continue, and the taxpayer will pick up the bill. Personally I am sick and tired of it. The children should be adopted out into decent homes, the women have a tubal ligation, the men a vasectomy, and put into the street.

Public Housing and look and the number of children. Anyone see a problem here? I understand that sometimes people need help and it should be just that -temporary help. This whole news was disturbing on many different counts. The amount of children living in public housing, the possibility of child abuse, and the fact that again, in one form or another, the system has to step in and be the responsible entity, because apparently the parents are not.
