First and foremost, it is not the fault of McMamey that this dog was shot with a bow and arrow. Secondly, if this dog was so aggressive as some claim, I would imagine that the police would have been notified and perhaps pressure could have been exerted that way on McMamey to come out.
Shooting a dog with a bow and arrow is something only a moron would do. This man obviously has no compassion for animals. Stray dogs can be violent when cornered or scared so I'm sure the dog did growl; however, I refuse to believe that someone with ANY amount of intelligence couldn't have found a better way to deal with this situation.
