Personally, I think Ringgold could take a few tips from the town of Greensburg, KS. They were devastated by an EF5 in May 2007, and have since rebuilt by going "Green." By no means am I a "tree-hugging hippie," but I think it's a good way to start new and fresh, and do things better for the environment at the same time! And it doesn't even have to be totally green, either! Look up Greensburg, Kansas on Wikipedia or Google about their effort to go green after rebuilding. It's definitely something Ringgold and North Georgia could rally around and maybe get some national attention or help from alternative means.
