This isn't a news story. It's just another daily black on black crime. Black leaders including politicians, NAACP, churches all think this is okay. Seldom do they respond. Another day in the hood.

24 years old. Recently out of college. No real work experience. Daddy just lost election, just got out of congress. Country in a divided mess. How about I run for congress. Yeah, yeah. That's the ticket. I've got the answers...

Oh, and here is one of my favorite quotes from Daddy Wamp when he was about to lose the election...

“Both of them are really running on their daddies’ fumes,” Wamp told supporters near Nashville. “They wouldn’t even be in this game if it weren’t for their fathers.”

jdchatt...so what is the amount of time someone should be given to get on their feet? How many months should one be given to get a job, save money, and move out an support themselves? You have to put a number to it. You can't keep it open ended or we will have the mess we have. So please give us all a number of months. 12, 18, 24, 36 months? What is it?

And please don't use the words 'christian', 'jesus', or 'God' in your response.

"The daughter of a retired Air Force officer has lived in a public housing site for four years and doesn’t want to leave."

Of course she doesn't want to leave. Look at that smile on her face. Free or near free ride for four years. Why stop now. The 'Birth till Death Entitlement Program'. Makes me sick. Some stepping stone from having difficulties to getting out onto ones own. This is a way of life and it's disgusting. I'm sick of paying for able bodied people to live.

"Funding will be provided to help residents with moving expenses"

Where was my moving expense money when I had to move 2 years ago?

I'll say again. This can't be a church. How do you have a candlelight service on Christmas eve and not have everyone in attendance know that they are attending church. The one guy who was shot leaving the service that night is on camera saying he didn't know that Mosaic was a church. How can that be? I'm not a regular church goer, but I believe every time I've gone to one, I've known I was attending church. I've been to some really non-traditional churches too. A little strange that this isn't the case for this place.

slanford...she went through a gun course that told her that she couldn't just carry her gun anywhere she wants. She was given specific instructions on what she could and couldn't do. That is the purpose of taking the course. She obviously didn't listen to the instructors or read her manual. She probably shouldn't be carrying.

I don't think she should be commended for going to a police officer in NYC to ask where she should check her weapon. Maybe say nothing or go back to your hotel room and put it up. She's an idiot.

328Kwebsite and Lr103...that's it do what you do best. Blame the police, mayor, and everyone else for the problems. Push the blame onto everyone else. Accept no responsibility. Go ahead and say it. It was that (white) Chief of Police that got those nine people shot. It was that (white) mayor who shot those nine people. It was those downtown (white) wealthy people who pulled that trigger. That is what you're best at doing. Blame everyone else. Doesn't work. Fact is this is just one more, seems like daily, incident of black on black crime. Again, shut the place down now.

Callie Starnes from Channel 3 interviewed one of the guys shot who attended the so-called candlelight service that night. When she asked him about the service he said he didn't know that Club Fathom/Mosaic was a church. That says enough.

As Gordon Ramsey says...."shut it down".

That's just stupid for someone to travel to another state and carry a firearm without first checking the laws. Isn't that part of the carry permit course she had to take? Don't they tell you that the permit is for the state in which it was issued. And of all places to take a loaded firearm, NYC WTC Memorial. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. Hope that doesn't make national news so that late night comedians won't have another dumb southern joke.
