There is not. There never has been. There never will be a driver shortage. The supply of drivers is elastic. What we have is a shortage of people/companies willing and able to pay the going rate. It is like me going to a Cadillac dealer and plunking down $10,000 for a new Cadillac. When the dealer turns down my offer I leave and complain about a Cadillac shortage.
