We need cuts in the budget but we also need for the rich to start paying taxes and to stop bailing out companies that can't make it on their own. The tax breaks givin to the rich by George W. have not created jobs. They are holding on to their money to get more rich. GREED. Take away the tax breaks and stop giving money to countries that hate us.
Could also legalize marijuana and save a few billion. It is far less dangerous than acohol which we sail on ever corner.
Everybody always assumes the wife knows or knew. Not true. When it comes to surface, they might look back and see things that confirm but when you love someone you could never imagine or suspect that person doing these things.
That does seem cruel to save him so you can put him through it again to kill him. Abolish the death penalty. It cost more than keeping a man for life. God could have plans for that man even in prison. We are not God. "Let the one w/o sin cast the first stone" Some Christian nation we are.
So sad and anyone who thinks it could never happen to them is crazy. Its God's will that we help the homeless, feed the hungry and clothed the naked. See Matt. 25. It is such a same that the mentally ill cannot be helped in this country w/o being rich. I have read that as much as 70% of those in jail have mental problems. Just think how much money this country could save by offering good care for those with problems. Those same people could then lead productive lives. God would smile on us also.
Apparently these police officers have way to much time on their hands. May be that police dept. should have a lay off as they must have too many officers. This should make that believe it or not show.
@nucanuck, You always hear about it in Catholic church because it is the largest in the world. It actually happens more in protestant churches. I believe I read 1.5% in Catholic church and 2.5% in protestant church. People up North could care less about a story regarding a Baptist, etc church down south. I guess as I have heard about 3 cases in the Chattanooga area in the last 15 years in Baptist churches. Anthing bad happen in Catholic church seems to make the news all over the world.

Someone did not do their job. With all the info victim gave, He should have been caught before this happened. He was drunk could have killed others on the road or shot others. thank God the grandfather had a gun or more would be dead.
