Why is it only cigs and alcohol that's getting taxed? How unfair. If this is their solution to forcing people to quit smoking/drinking then I'd say they need to also tax fast food, donuts, and candy.. then maybe everyones kids won't be so dam obese.

This is absolutely ridiculous! PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT'S AROUND YOU!! Too many pedestrians, mopeds, and bicyclists are being hit everyday due to motorists lack of consideration and poor judgement. They have EVERY right to the street just as you do and anyone who lives in Chattanooga knows people on bicycles are everywhere! May you rest in peace Mr. Meek.

I agree with you hmdesign4u. If a pit bull (this is not a little chihuahua that will snap your ankles) came at me vicious and trying to attack I'd shoot it too. Those animals are trained to be fighting dogs and kill. Thank God this officer acted so quickly, he could have been seriously injured if not killed.

So Luong has been in this country since he was 14, he's 38 now and still needs an interpreter? Did he never learn English in his 24 years of inhabiting the United States?
And no, don't "let him suffer in prison" give him the needle as soon as found guilty. No sense in spending the tax payers dollars to support him for years when he's so willing to die right now.

Seriously.. I'm sure we, as taxpaying citizens, picked up her bill for delivering her anchor baby at OUR hospital. She has some nerve sueing, let alone being her illegally. I say deport her.
