Now, if $27 an hour or 57k a year...which is absurd...goes to benefits, maybe that's the reason GM needed bailing out? No, it was the greedy CEO, right? Not the fact that everyone is guaranteed $120k in salary and benefits?
That's a reach if I've ever seen one. Just like the "great" hire of a head coach that had a losing record at LA Tech and clearly in over his head. Nice try though.
I wish I had as much spare time as some people do, to respond to and insult every single person that expresses a belief that doesn't coincide with theirs. This damn job, though. Somebody's gotta pay for your stuff, I suppose...
Why don't you use quotes for him "dancing around questions", 'cause I don't see how you can say that with, “I’m making the decision for me as far as my retirement is concerned”. Another piece from Pam Sohn, with nothing but negative ASSumptions directed towards TVA with absolutely no basis. If that's what this paper is looking for...to sensationalize ordinary news...well, you got a real winner here, in Pam Sohn. Personally, I think its a real shame.
A clear and blatant all-out leftist assault on the nuclear power industry. Not only is there a common sense and likely reason for these self reported test results, but the results themselves pose no threat to safety or public health. But you get these conclusions only if you recognize them thinly laced within the majority of assumptions expressed by the author. You've outdone yourself once again TFP!!
Where are the liberals on this? A guy works his arse off for $250K and he's rich. This guy makes $25M a year and that's ok. Celebs are in the same boat.
For the record, I think its absurd that sports figures make what they make, but if they can actually find someone to pay it, more power to them. I personally think that the fans should ban all pro sports until the players and owners bring the prices of tickets and concessions back reasonable prices...and in return, reasonable salaries.

Alprova, depends on your source. According to your peeps at media matters, the average is $55 an hour including benefits.

I think he's smiling because he makes $50/hr to put that bumper sticker on.
Speechless
Tacky, but typical
