Great stuff this week JG...your courage in the wake of last nights dousing of the Heat is admirable.
Clorox Orange fans never cease to amaze me...if you don't want to read about the best college football program in all the land, then poke your eyes out so you don't have to LOL.
Rushmore of foreign country events would have to belly flopping in Alabama (see equal opportunity).
A sports movie recommendation for you JG..."The Harder They Fall", a boxing film and Bogarts final performance...great film watch it each and every time and even has Max Baer, no not Jethro Bodine, but his dad the one time heavyweight champ.
2013 football season officially begins in Chattanooga tomorrow night!
First off the NCAA and the stuff with Vanderdoes...sticky wicket indeed, first off if there were not so many recruiting GEEKS, and the world wide leader who has made such a spectacle of signing day, i.e. Vonn Bell, interesting it was never reported that up to 90% of those in attendance (fans) that morning who were wearing clorox orange walked out the moment the words THE Ohio State were uttered and kind words were not spoken about young Bell by those bearing the roadside trash pick up colors...perhaps if recruiting were not what it has become things like this might not be so prevalent...
The Weekley's are to be commended for the job the did this season, but for those of us are follow the sport, realize that this OU team might very well be the best team in WCWS history, as much love is given to the Lady Vols, let those fans also remember that despite the record of this past season, our Lady Mocs are still considered one of the better programs in NCAA...Remember not that long ago, they were one win away from the Super Regionals
In a word Gee is an IDIOT...but that anti catholic sentiment does exist...was obvious in the lead up to the BCS game...very offensive jokes made by Bama fans regarding the Catholic faith..
Congrats to Puig, great start to his big league career, and he can forget about those lunatics who felt his little traffic escapade here in river city deserved some sort of punishment from the team
Campanis is of course the leader add in Jimmy The Greek, Cosell, John DA Rocker and Marge Schott
MLB suspends players for PED usage...SAY IT AINT SO JOSE, SAY IT AINT SO!!!! Maybe we can forever rid the Yankees of A-Rod, he will never be a true Yankee...Want to bet he DOESNT get his number retired???
THANK YOU JG FOR REFRAINING FROM LEBRON TODAY...MUCH OBLIGED LOL
JG...I am indeed worried about you, that is more than one Beeber ref in the past several days...That is almost as bad as The Stones who have recently had Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift on stage with them, during what is probably their swan song tour...what is next our little local karaoke queen...
Congrats to the Heat, I know all the Lebron worshippers are happy...
Indeed what a great game last night between OU and the Lady Vols and have you noticed that Knoxville and Chattanooga are one of the few remaining schools to use the "Lady" moniker...second best game I have ever seen...tops on my list was 2008 when Lauren Flores hit a extra inning grand slam as the Lady Mocs beat Kentucky.
All those basketball movies and not one shout out to "The Fish That Saved Pittsburg"
Big Kudos for the Chipper Jones get...as a former regular attendee, hate I will miss this one
MocTastic just did not have the heart to offend anyone, but interesting that Douglas talks about this right on the heels of playing Liberace in a HBO film
Once again PC rules...the days of speaking your mind are over, just ask Chris Broussard! Where are the apologies to Tim Tebow for all the garage he had to take for his faith? If I insult you, SO WHAT, I spoke what I felt and you have to let it go.
MocTastic is exactly right, had Gee made remarks regarding Muslims he would have been fired, keelhauled, whipped, drawn and quartered by the world wide leader and every journalist in the world. However, because it was a slap at Catholics, he is just being made fun of and given a free pass.
Is poetic justice about to take place with the Heat?
Granted Lebron is a great player there is no doubt, but this slobbering love affair with the Heat is out of control, and almost beyond ridiculous.
Smoke definitely needed the win, although would have been nice to see Juan Pablo win his first on an oval. Kudos to DW for saying Danica will be the first of this year's rookies to win a race.
Dang just felt a big breeze outside. Oh that was just Uggla wiffing again.
TV writing, no so sure on the Friday Night Lights, altough will give you that one. The original Bob Newhart Show should be considered, clever stuff! At least "Small Town Security" is not mentioned.
darwin when you have been published on a national level you can speak...i have and in this type of forum, i do as i please...you obviously do not know the history of the democratic party, the party of the klan, segregation, the mafia and their marriage to the labor unions...i however refrain from name calling, etc which is the preferred method of argument from the left..
5-at-10: Mailbag on our Bama love, sports best bargains, 5-at-10 history and international bucket list
