Easyette....this plant life which has decayed also had to be alive at some point and they lived as they do today via photosynthesis. You is correct, that's where solar comes in and is precisely what I meant by mother nature storing up some solar energy. Over simplified yes, sorry I confused you.

Oil and natural gas together make petroleum. Petroleum, which is Latin for “rock oil,” is a fossil fuel, meaning it was made naturally from decaying prehistoric plant and animal remains. It is a mixture of hundreds of different hydrocarbons molecules containing hydrogen and carbon that exist sometimes as a liquid (crude oil) and sometimes as a vapor (natural gas).

Easyette...this is from one of the links you posted....also google (or I know you like wiki) "Conservation of Mass"

easyette....I realize you have awesome google skills but I already knew the source. Now, let's not stop there but how do you suppose those decaying plants and animals got there in the first place. Would a little thing like photosynthesis come in to play? And if so where in the universe does that light come from? The sun perhaps? Can you say SOLAR? The next time you're in homeroom, crack open a chemistry book, it'll tell you all about it.

Alpo (Georgia's only "registered republican") says..."Until it runs out of oil, which is an absolute certainty."

How do you know this alpo, isn't it really solar energy that mother nature has stored for us?

We haul bottled water from our municipal water supplies around the country in trucks getting 6 mpg of diesel at cost of about $4 per gallon. More fracking needed for more fuel.

Alpo (Georgia's only registered republican) says...."Eric Holder isn't going anywhere"

I wouldn't be so sure about Holder, I see an independent prosecutor coming and perjury can be serious.
