alpo, who by the way is a registered republican, says "The day you can win a debate with me, then you get to attack my congnition. As it is, you're WAY behind the ball."

That would be "cognition" mr know it all.

"Clearly the thoughts of an unwell man. I urge you, sir, to get help"

I agree JD....the health problems he allegedly has most likely has affected cognition. Probably best to ignore his rants.

socialism necessarily suppresses the individual and forces the individual to be part of the collective.

Well stated, sounds like a union workplace to me.

gassy says "Patriot, owning a few hundred shares of stock in a company, usually doesn't give you the power to do squat."

The number of shares you have are directly proportional to how loud your voice can be at a shareholder meeting. Wouldn't it be nice if our voice at the polls were relative to how much skin we have in the game?

alpo, who btw a registered republican, says "What about a company that has not gone public? How do I influence what I disagree with in that case?"

Do you mean like Hobby Lobby? Don't buy their product....or get on this forum and show your ignorance by telling everyone how much their stock is falling. You really showed us your business acumen on that one.

alpo, who by the way is a registered republican, says "Name one inspirational CEO, who is praised by all who work for a company."

Alpo, I think you have a serious misunderstanding of how business works. The CEO works for the stockholders. Also, what business is it of yours how much a CEO is compensated unless you own stock in the company? If you are a stock holder and don't like the way things are run, that little proxy card will allow you to vote your shares the way you would like. Want a larger voice, buy more shares, a bigger stake. It's that simple. Too bad we don't elect our politicians that way. To name a CEO who is praised by ALL the employees? As Hillary Clinton would say "What difference does it make!"

alpo, who, by the way is a registered republican, says "Even in the case of a business, it is the employees who make or break a company. Leaders have little to do with it."

Alpo...that is why they are called leaders, they lead. If it's so hard for you to understand, think of it in terms of a sports team. The coach gets the axe (not the alternate pronouncing of ask) not the entire team if results are not achieved. Leaders/coaches are not there to block and tackle they are there to inspire and motivate others.

alpo who, by the way is a registered republican, says "I think he has been bullied to do something, and it's a shame that he has to feel that he has to do something."

Alpo.....Obama is reacting to poll numbers especially since the Nov. elections are coming up. Liberals are driven by emotion and seeing the brutality of Isis, it gets them going. But it also explains why their "patriotism" is about a mile wide and an inch deep. Obama will change his mind as soon as support starts to wane and poll numbers say something different.
