I am a tea party member and I DON'T endorse her. She supports Zach Wamp and he voted for TARP. She doesn't know the difference between Flat Tax and Fair Tax. Listen to her and you can hear some of the same old thing we have been hearing from all the politicians that are in Washington now. I stopped going to the Chattanooga Tea Party when they did that farce of a straw poll a couple of months ago. The whole thing was ridiculous, they just wanted us to write down whether or not we had picked our candidate. Why were they afraid to ask who? The straw poll from Bradley County was one poll Robin won, if you had money you could vote and vote often. I saw that as a huge sham and she uses it as some sort of endorsement.
If you think that showing this video cut up into sections strikes fear in anyone you are sorely mistaken. I carry as do a lot of people in Tenn. it's our RIGHT to do that. And the Constitution guarantees that. I have a permit, as do a lot of Tennesseans. You can go to the above links to see van unedited. When you see the whole picture instead of what the editor wants you to see, it lets you make up your own mind. A lot of people carry in Tenn. the editors at the Times Free Press need to realize that these are law abiding citizens that have the RIGHT to carry. Van doesn't have to justify carrying to you or anyone else. Most people know not to ask it someone is carrying, he only told you as a courtesy.

Barely a mention of the Constitution until term limits came up. Not one, "I'm a Constitutionalist" statement the whole night. I missed Van being there, they could have sent their support group to speak for them it was so lackluster.

What chattanoogan.com poll are you speaking of? The one that after over 2000 votes Van was at 51% and someone removed the poll. The results were NEVER posted, I sent numerous messages to the Chattanoogan.com and noone has ever bothered to tell me why you can find the Tonya craft poll still and every other poll but nowhere will you see the poll you claim Van lost. Did you find it? I think we need to put out a demand to see the poll, as no one has ever given a good explanation why that poll result was never posted. I have lost faith in Chattanoogan.com as a viable news source because of that. It seems like the way people work around here is if they don't like the answers they just ignore it or worse yet, hide it.
