Don't hold your breath. This town is a black hole of culture when it comes to non-mainstream films.

Remember: Inspectors that find problems that cause people to back out of the deal are not going to be hired or recommended by agents. The only perople recommended are those people that will "play ball" and help make sure the deal gets closed.

CAVEAT EMPTOR is your friend....that and an education.

Short answer: No.

Inspections are a ruse. The main point of the inspection is to deflect responsibility from the sellers and the agents.

Sellers MUST DISCLOSE all known problems to buyers. Not doing so makes them liable with a one year statutes of limitations. on their negligence to dislose.

Spend the money learning and teaching yourself the law and how to inspect the home yourself. The Home inspector's main job is to protect themselves and in the end they will have you sign a waiver that removes all culpability from themselves.

Real Estate agents will not tell you this because they sleep in the same bed. Inspectors that find problems do not get hired, so most learn to merely find a small amount of minor issues just to make it seem as if they have really done something.

Don't believe the hype because it is mostly money wasted.

KWVeteran: It has nothing to do with liberals, putz. It has everything to do with being humane.

Unless you are admitting that those on the right are inhumane, which is certainly a distinct possibility based upon what I see here in these comments repeatedly.

Why is it that the Health Care Industry is full of fatties?

Every Doctor's office in this town seems to hire the most overweight people to work in their offices. It's as disgusting as it is disconcerting and it certainly sends the wrong message to patients.

Take a stroll through the Blue Cross complex....these bovines are some of the largest known members of the human species.

Whatever happened to the "WHY" part of journalism?

In today's world of instant info, people read papers not so much to find out the When, What, Where, or Who. We can get that almost anywhere, from multiple sources, and usually far quicker than the traditional print media can deliver.

It is the WHY we are looking for. And the HOW.

You know....ANALYSIS. You know, from SOURCES.

These types of superficial 'nuts & bolts' blatherings and pronouncements are the main reason why most of us wish to put the old Fourth Estate into a nursing home.

Time to evolve....or die.

Try blurring the lines once in a while, if need be. Tell us what the impact will be, what it will mean, AND WHY!

Good luck ~!
