What you fail to understand is the key to most of this is that she left Dr. Goodman's office experiencing pain and vomiting, supposedly normal. The pain never grew worse, nor did the vomiting. The trusted doctor so many of you described above, well she trusted him too. She called several times, and she listened to her trusted doctor, because the symptoms were no different. Who would believe a doctor you trust would lead you astray? Who would go to an ER when the pain and discomfort are really no worse? Who can afford to pay for an expensive procedure and then an expensive ER bill on top of that? Who would not go to the ER if they felt it was life or death? Why I'm certain Ms. Freeman wanted to force her life into the state it is in now... who wouldn't want to lose their ability to walk, to see, to use their hands and arms? Who wouldn't want to live life totally dependent upon someone else?
And the money, well I wonder what it will cost for the next 55-60 years of her life to keep 'round the clock care? I wonder what it will cost her in medical bills? I wonder how difficult her life will be? I wonder how long the defense drug their heals in an attempt to make this go away?
Poor Dr. G who still has his health and his practice and all his accumulated wealth. Shame on those of you who pass judgment on this woman-- not all decisions in life are based on the same greed you express.
