TO the moronic first comment. 75% of women, 50% of children and 20% of men were saved from the TItanic....HIstorically accurate. ALso, this cartoon is extremely biased as both parties are to blame for this sinking ship.
Didn't they play a high school?
Well a couple of things. First, this is hardly gladiator games. Mainly because no one dies. Boxing is more deadly than MMA. There has never been a major head injury in the UFC. SO the first comment really has no validity. This is lengthened by the attempt to put it on a parallel with slavery. Secondly, why the hell is this on the front page?
This article doesn't take into account that certain tax allocations have to be spent on specific things and if not then the money disappears. Construction of new buildings is usually a big part of this. Things get renovated, enlarged, or new buildings are built lest the money would be taken away.
somewhat biased. I feel you're losing your objective touch
I don't have time to reply to a lot of the arguments but one of the earlier ones about the population growing. The U.N. did a report a year or two ago where hey found the world population was in actuality leveling out from its former over population. Several countries might face population shortages. Keep that in mind with regards to our resources.
This higher emphasis on Science and Math over other subjects makes me want to vomit. I loved teaching in England where there were no "special" subjects.
This is an issue of parents. The retailers put the warnings on the box, and you cannot purchase said video game if you are not of age. The children getting it through people and around the parents isn't their fault. I get disturbed when we blame issues on manufacturers and attempt to violate their rights with censorship. It's a parenting problem, same with Rated-R Movies, and so on.
I've yet to see any cartoons about Obama breaking the war powers acts or being engaged in 4 different engagements without a congressional declaration of war.
Love the above response of the felon.
