Conservatards don't even like their own candidate. Is Romney supposed to be the best candidate to beat Obama in the fall? Hardly, they're both cut from the same liberal mold.

328K, I agree that Clay shouldn't have combined issues, although I see his point about racism being at the root of both cases. In both cases, black people are being "targeted".

Obama did not bring race into this issue. The moron Zimmerman brought race into it when he shouted racial epithets at the boy while on the cell phone to 911. I think any parent would think about their own child when thinking about Trayvon Martin. But then again, most white kids aren't hunted down like an animal in suburbia like he was.

Obama never called for the immediate execution of Zimmerman. He simply said that the boy's death was a tragedy and that it needs to be investigated.

It's pretty telling that he only apologized after some of his sponsors pulled advertising from his show. He will say anything to make a buck, but this time he went too far.
