Honestly? They followed the couples for four years and determined in that short time what makes a happy marriage? Is 4 years the benchmark now? Yikes.

"Drivers were worried it would reach $5.00 a gallon."

Because that's what the media kept proclaiming.

This just makes me sick. Anyone with common sense would make their kid wash his hands after touching the animals anyway. I hope that not only is this thrown out, but that the family ends up having to pay a boat load in legal fees.

I wonder if those who tout "Illegal means illegal" always drive the posted speed limit as well and stop when the light turns yellow instead of speeding up to get through it.

Knew I could come here to find hateful racists.

The difference in the long ago chain gang and this probationer work program is that the probationers get PAID to do this work and they have the right to reject the job if they don't want it. There is just no comparison between the two.

Are you kidding me?! The probationer is criticizing the FARMER for hiring illegal immigrants? Who is the pot and who is the kettle today?

And as for that probationer's comment about if they would pay them a fair wage to do the work: the $20 an hour that the one immigrant worker earned because he WORKED HARD and earned tickets sounds like WAY more than a fair wage to me. Almost as much as I earn and I'm a professional educator. No, it'll only work if the workers CHOOSE to do the work.
