Those two lobbyists knew it was the Balcony [B for Box Storage -- yeah, right.]

Those lobbyists knew a key was required to get in so they sneaked in on the shirt tails of the two box carrying men.

One of the lobbyists who crashed the meeting just happened to be the House Speaker's wife. [Is that a clue or what?]

Incidentally, how is it the Speaker's wife a lobbyist? Crashing a closed meeting is a bit minor comparatively -- look what the "Duke" was into here -- so how about looking into a possible conflict of interest by the House Speaker? Mrs Naifeh [aka Anderson] is a properly registered or whatever lobbyist, right? Is she hiding behind her maiden name to avoid just such an allegation, perhaps? Or is it something more innocent and humdrum?

Once again; absolutely GREAT job by all agencies. This citizen and local resident thanks each and every one of you.

Nice touch in prosecuting under Federal law.

Absolutely great!

Keep up the good work!

Anything involving that level of government and those organizations cannot be anything but positive!

Perhaps if the news media would stop Monday morning quarterbacking and screaming about police brutality and over-reaction while sobbing about and slobbering over the "poor victim", fewer cops would get killed because of a fatal delay in taking action in fear of prosecution or being publicly pilloried by that media. You should instead be congratulating the cop who did his job in protecting us.

I say, "Thanks guys -- we owe you a lot."

TBI agents making traffic stops absolutely must be in clearly marked cars with permanent external lights and the agents must be in uniform with prominently displayed badge, etc. No civies/undercover garb allowed.

One should not stop for unmarked cars without uniformed officers present and visible. Particularly at night. Google Caryl Chessman et al for examples of what can happen...too many wingnuts, gang members, etc waving guns around out there these days to take that kind of chance.

First of all, no one in prison anywhere, anytime is guilty of anything. Period. Just ask them.

So let's set them all free; just let them all out.

Maybe next time -- and rest assured, there WILL be a next time with these losers. Sooner or later they will enter the wrong house at the wrong time and justice will be served.

A FIVE or TEN pound handgun??? And your author considers that "comparatively heavy"?? I guess it would be...if it were a Dirty Harry sized cannon.

A .40 semi-auto fully loaded with 10 rounds weighs less than TWO pounds [I just weighed one] and it is large for a hiker to carry. A smaller, easily concealed 9mm or .380 would be better at just over a pound.

I say good for Ms Dobbs and others like her who take their personal safety seriously and don't depend on others to protect them. The days of the fluttery-eyed damsel in distress helplessly waiting for rescue are over.

Please drop the anti-gun rhetoric, do your homework, and get real. We not only have domestic nutcases wandering around the woods, we now have the imported variety.

Let's see...120 calories inside a Middle Schooler...no active sports during recess/lunch [heaven forbid, PHYSICAL CONTACT GAMES!]...just a bunch of lumps sitting around texting each other. It is a wonder only 20-30 percent are obese.

As Mr Jenkins said above, “...maybe we [should]...put [the students] out somewhere and run the daylights out of them.” Good idea; keep the high-energy Cokes and run for the money -- and for the [horrors!] weight-losing exercise.

The Rest Of The Story...

Regardless of what is printed here, my mileage -- and that of everyone I have talked to -- has dropped 10 percent, both city and highway. That's two to three miles per gallon less for the 4-wheelers, five per gallon less for the bikes.

There is significantly less energy in gasohol than in straight gasoline -- less energy equals lower mileage. Period. Tie that into the higher cost of gasohol and all savings disappear.

The true answer is to allow our own domestic supplies of crude oil to be developed -- wherever they may lie -- and kept for USA use ONLY. Refineries MUST be built here to process this oil.
