Someone should tell these poor bastards not to waste their time.

Skillern wants McClure.

Thats the end of it.

Im not a regular listerner but something was clearly amiss with this guy during the recent Mayoral standoff. He fought hard for Coppinger (nothing wrong with that i just thought it was odd that he didn't even feign neutrality...most in the media do) and spent an hour one day recently suggesting that Mike Carter was one of the two attorneys who filed a complaint against Judges Moon and Bales, which the Times Free Press later confirmed Carter had nothing to with.

Also, after Dalton Roberts piece about Politcal connivance at the county courthouse, jammer had dalton on and spent the show having commissioners like Joe Graham call in and explain to Mr Roberts why he was wrong and how everything they were doing was on the "up and up." This genius (Jammer) also openly referred to the commissioners as his 'moles.'

Roberts was polite about it but the whole thing was so blantly staged that it came off looking like Jammer was in someone's pocket.

I also here there was a lot of personal baggage with Jammer. So its hard to say why he was fired, but one could speculate all day.

Fields was part of the original deal. Bankston wasn't. Slim Jim and Fred will see to it that Fields is rewarded and Bankston is punished.

Wasn't Mitch McClure named specifically by carter as the man Skillern was seeking to replace Coppinger with when he assumed the mayor job?

Wasn't this all in the paper a week or more ago?

These commissioners are brazen.

But i guess they know they can get away with it.

Hopefully we'll see a lawsuit over the clear violation of the sunshine law. Then, and only then, will we hear the truth.

Im a casual observer but i've noticed that no one seems to be FOR or AGAINST Jim Coppinger.

Everyone is either Pro-carter or anti-Carter and Coppinger just seems to be an after thought in the whole thing.

I don't know either man but i had heard of Carter before the process. I had never heard of Jim Coppinger.

He seems to be a nice enough guy but i think getting the position the way he did will hurt his credibility going forward.
