So Alabama loses a couple of players and the Utah blowout is understandable. Georgia loses key players, but the blowouts suffered are not understandable?
You're never going to be able to explain the ups and downs of college football, but consistent logic might help. Who really knows why Georgia thumps LSU using a solid running game, loses to Tech and then watches LSU stomp Tech and throttle its runners? There are too many factors at play, including injuries. But it's good sport for commentators and fans to show the players and coaches the errors of their ways. How else would they know?

On Epps: Richt is right to a point, but this wasn’t great coaching
