If you have credible information you should contact GHSA and not post things about high school kids on a public forum.

Ha! No fan, he certainly doesn't fly under the radar, but we're glad to have him. Good Luck to everyone's team moving forward, nothing quite like high school football.

He's a gruff ol' bear and probably a little crazy, but you won't hear me complain or criticize either, I've heard too many good things come from Coach to question him. I could go on for a lot longer than this post would allow on the level of excellence he expects and gets from these boys. I've heard other coaches comment that his practices are run at a pace and level they've not seen very often in high school, and his players have responded. And LZD, we have been beaten badly and no, it didn't feel good, but I never heard any comment about running up the score, I honestly believe if you beat us by 50, Coach would shake your hand and say, "Great job" with no whining. I appreciate the heart you have for your boys and that you understand the heart we have for ours. Again, excuse our defensiveness, it's been a rough couple of weeks.

LZD...really? taunting and arrogance? have you ever been around any other football teams? Our boys AND coaches have actually had loads of compliments through the years on being a class act and a very disciplined, well-coached team. That never seems to make it in the paper or the local rumor mills. Take a stroll through the hateful comments at the end of Signal articles and imagine your son being on the team. You don't think these boys have grandparents, aunts, little cousins, etc. that are so proud of these boys? Then they get to the hatred spewing at the end of the article...nice. Some of this crap even mentions them by name and says awful stuff about the boys, so sorry if I'm a little defensive, I've had enough and I will continue to defend them. "Signal Mtn. will get theirs one day" I appreciate that you tried to qualify that statement by focusing it away from the kids, but it doesn't work that way. "You mess with one man, you've got us all!"

Y'all are so stupid! We could announce we had 5 merit scholars and you would accuse us of cheating or something. Grow up! Andrew price is a great kid and you blast SMMHS for his great accomplishment. Get a life!

It was senior night and his season has come to an abrupt end, let him run. Now let's watch the Signal bashing comments come rolling in, you're like vultures...

ldurham...you may find it hard to believe that there are hundreds and hundreds of stories of mentoring in EVERY high school in this county, whether out of zone kid or kid in your own community. That would be the main reason most teachers and staff show up everyday, to support and encourage young people so they may have the best chance for a great future, from simply providing extra help, to making sure they have a backpack, breakfast, or the same socks the rest of the team is wearing. I've seen many situations where a mentor or teacher will pay for driving lessons or dental work out of their own pocket. TFP doesn't seem interested in putting that on the front page or any other positive comment concerning SMMHS. And yes, these things happen even in the lying cheating community of Signal Mtn. Maybe it's because potcat has discovered the truth..."SM high schools..Students, Coaches, Teachers, Principle, Tim and Parents of SM students are a bunch of Liars." darn, thought we had you all fooled, just too smart for us I guess!

Obviously you have no clue! The kid from LFO did not play last year because he hurt his knee and had it surgically repaired. Please post only information that is true not false. By the way, Coach Price has been coaching 25+ years and has never had a kid suspended for fighting on the field. Maybe your brother should look at his own program before making comments about another!!!
