David, You made a mistake in your article. You said, referring to the 2010 season, "a 45-19 LOSS at Tennessee". It was actually a Georgia WIN. Just an fyi in case you would like to correct it online. I realize you can change it in the paper.

Good point Macallanlover. I am fully awake now and see that the points were 'pretend'. I guess I just have such a bad taste in my mouth for the Defenses of the past three years that any time I see points against the Dogs, I cringe. Thanks for the heads-up. And, I also appreciate your other posts in other threads. Nice insight.

jdawg, I realize it was the scrub team, but I don't want ANY configuration of a Georgia defense giving up 24 points. 6 is respectable... even if it's against a first-team Dawg offense.

And remember... I said the 'pessimist' in me feels that way. ;-)

If this was a simulated Dogs vs the Ragin' Cajuns game... the pessimist side of me says 24 points is too many points to give up to Louisiana-Lafayette. Our Defense better be much better than that come next Saturday. I like the 38 on offense though. However, our biggest problem, the past couple of years, has not offend been putting points on the board, it's been keeping more of the opponents points OFF!
