Clearly the mother had to have known this man was abusing her children, she'd called the police on multiple occasions for the same abuse, and yet she still left them alone in his care?! She should be prosecuted as well for allowing it. As their mother, she should have been protecting them! The comment at the end of the article is troubling as well. "She has visited the children at the hospital twice" Um, is it just me, or does it seem very strange that the mother isn't staying at the hospital by her children's side after such horrible abuse. Why is she merely "visiting" them, and not much at that. Isn't this the time to be there for your children more than ever before? I really hope they're not being sent back into her care.
