I don't have an interest in this outcome but I am interested in the story. It is my understanding Tim attended Hixson and was on the football team as a freshman. It is obvious they planned to play him too. What is the difference? Soddy-Daisy's coach is on record stating their interpretation is the same as Signal's and their hardship players are also allowed to participate. I have been advised the TFP has tried to gather how many hardship students are athletes and participating at their respective schools. The HCDE has not been co-operative in giving this information. So, the TFP is having to ask individual schools. Do you really think these schools will openly divulge this information? I think they should have to without giving names. Once this information is provided (i.e. Soddy) will these schools be subject to the same scrutiny and penalties as Signal? Sounds like this is going on across the state and not just in Hamilton County. I think Roberson did a great thing and should sleep well at night knowing he has made a positive impact on someone's life. I wish everyone would choose to help someone else better themselves. The world sure would be a better place.
