First of all, why does it make sense to use "out of town contractors"? And if anyone would like to see their 12.5% at work(2.5million X 12.5 =$312,500.00)drive to the Navajo-Germantown Rd area. The "out of town contractor" was here again this morning and picked up one small brush pile.I think it may have fit in my wife's Bug. They are gone again after 10-15 minutes. Their equipment is a joke. They show up in their personal vehicles because they all can't ride in the one truck they have. It may be a 1 2/2 ton with home made wooden sideboards. They have been here 3 times and maybe a total of 4 hours. They have not put a dent in the 3 huge trees piled up on our street. The skid steer they have is only big enough for small brush. They walk around with a clipboard in hand for 5 minutes or so and are gone again. What a joke. We were fortunate in this area that no one lost their life. I am thankful for that. My "gripe" is the wastefulness of our tax dollars, for what seems to be a "fly-by-night contractor".Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims of this devastating storm.

The faulty insulation would have been found after installation if the circuit had been "megged". That should be done on all medium and high voltage circuits.

Recovery
Seems that some use federally funded programs and criticize others for the same.
The Convention
Thanks Alprova for setting the record straight with Jackass.
And if the GOP"s 2012 candidate is Sarah Palin, I will go ahead now and congratulate President Obama on being re-elected.

I agree Vandy. As long as he gets a good education,it really doesn't matter.
And Eustis--- where do you get off on calling this young man a liar?
