"The Big 10 can't compete with the SEC. Ohio State 0-9 overall vs. SEC is not a matter of home field advantage"
When was the last time any SEC team played an "away" game vs. a Big Ten program?

It's amazing that the Big Ten has as many bowl wins over the years as they have had. All major bowl games are played in the South, usually against a southern team that can drive to the stadium where as the Northern teams and their fans have to fly and thus, few show up. Congrats to Georgia and USC for the "home" field bowl wins. Maybe in years to come, the better bowl games will relocate to Detroit, Indianapolis and Minneapolis.

“Most people do not need to hunt to survive in this day and age,” said Nicole Matthews, a spokeswoman with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals based in Michigan. “Hunting is nothing more than a violent form of recreation.”
No matter who you are or what you like to do, there's always someone somewhere that thinks they know better. Using Ms. Matthews failed logic, one could also assert that gardening is a waste of time since we have grocery stores and corporate owned mega-farms. I wonder how she would feel if everyone thought her organization was useless because they spend more money protecting cows and cats than they do homeless humans?

“I’m not going to go out there and outperform Matt Stafford. I’m going to go out there and be Brian Hoyer.”
I'll be pulling for the green and white AND for Hoyer to outperform Stafford...for 3 quarters, then Ringer takes over and runs out the clock.

The Spartans are a one dimensional team. Ringer up the middle, Ringer to the outside, touchdown Ringer! Yep, a one dimensional team. Each of their opponents have known this right from the gate, including the Wolverines and Badgers...both of which lost, to the one dimentional Spartans.
On UGA defense hopes to bounce back in bowl date with Michigan State

The Majority in the senate wanted to help GM and Chrysler, but thanks to Sen. Corker, now his boss is going to have to do it. All because Corker and his ilk wanted the UAW to take a second cut in pay sometime in 2009. The UAW agreed to take the SECOND pay cut in 2011. Corker wants to sink the auto industry over a difference of 2 years? And people need to stop assuming UAW workers get $76 per hour, that's an outright lie. They start at $14 plus bene's and the average is $56 including bene's. The $76 per hour so often misquoted is when retiree's benefits are factored in to the overall cost, when retirement benefits were already paid by each employee while still working.
