After 19 consecutive years of liberal spendthrift administrations (every one since Reagan) the chickens are coming home to roost. The US Government is flat broke and the economy is on its back regardless of what the stock markets are signaling at the moment. If the people who are receiving transfer payments from the government and the workers (federal, state and local) show up and vote for Democratic candidates next November, nothing is going to change, and things will be much worse that they are today.
