Battling methamphetamine

The Consumer Healthcare Products Association is lobbying to launch the NPLEx system. The system is a real-time electronic monitor used by pharmacies and law enforcement agencies to track sales of cold medicine containing pseudoephedrine. Meanwhile, members of the Tennessee Meth Task Force are hoping to make pseudoephedrine a prescription-only controlled substance.
