Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Kloeppel, Freeburg, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a Mass of Thanksgiving and with a family dinner at Claysville Restaurant, hosted by their children and grandchildren. Ronald Kloeppel and Paralee Johannesmeyer were married October 14, 1967, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg. Msgr. Bernard Timpe officiated. They were attended by Nancy (Johannesmeyer) Maxwell, Freeburg; Shirley (Kloeppel) Sandbothe, Taos; Marilyn (Borgmeyer) McGehee, Springfield; Kenneth Kloeppel, Orange Port, Fla.; Jeron Sandbothe, Taos; and Stephan Johannesmeyer, Westphalia. Mr. and Mrs. Kloeppel have two children: Sheila (Kloeppel) Bailey and her husband Kirk, Jefferson City; and Eric Kloeppel, Freeburg. They also have five grandchildren: Trevor Bailey, Tyler Bailey, Cody Kloeppel, Molly Kloeppel, and Maci Kloeppel.
