Samantha Guz, Austin, Texas, and Landon Brockmeyer, College Station, Texas, were married July 23, in a double-ring ceremony at Woman's Club of San Antonio, San Antonio, Texas. The bride is a daughter of Dr. Evan and Karen Guz, San Antonio, Texas. The groom is the son of Brent and Karen Brockmeyer, Jefferson City. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. The honor attendant was Jackie Guz, San Antonio, Texas, sister of the bride. The attendants were Sarah Maddox, Belton, Texas, friend of the bride; Larah Pamplin, San Antonio, Texas, friend of the bride; Maya Williams, Detroit, Mich., friend of the bride; Danielle Rittman, Huntington Woods, Mich., cousin of the bride; and Eleni Mijalis, Shreveport, La., friend of the bride. The best man was Kurt Lofton, Jefferson City, friend of the groom. The groomsmen included: Jared Brockmeyer, Ballwin, brother of the groom; Kellen Brockmeyer, Springfield, brother of the groom; Laith Alkarmi, McKinney, Texas, friend of the groom; Christina Walters, Abilene, Texas, friend of the groom; and Aaron Krueger, Albuquerque, N.M., friend of the groom. The flower girls were Eliza Brockmeyer and Fiona Brockmeyer, daughters of Jared Brockmeyer and Sara Magalli, Ballwin, nieces of the groom. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at Woman's Club of San Antonio. A rehearsal brunch, hosted by the groom's parents, was held July 22 at Magnolia Pancake House, San Antonio, Texas. The bride is a 2011 graduate of North East School of the Arts, San Antonio, Texas; a 2015 graduate of Texas A&M, College Station, Texas, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology; and a 2017 graduate of the University of Texas, Austin, Texas, with a Master of Arts in Social Work. The groom is a 2010 graduate of Jefferson City High School, Jefferson City, and a 2014 graduate of Texas A&M, College Station, Texas, with a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering. He is pursuing a doctorate in nuclear engineering through Texas A&M at Argonne National Laboratory, Argonne, Ill. After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in Chicago, Ill.
