Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bexten, Jefferson City, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today with a Mass and a blessing by Father Medina at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville, and a brunch at Veits, hosted by their children. A trip to Hawaii is planned in January. Larry Bexten and Sandra Yancey were married October 28, 1967, at St. Peters Catholic Church, Jefferson City. Rev. John Fisher officiated. They were attended by Ralph Bexten, Rich Fountain; Judy (Yancey)Kilburn, Leavenworth, Kan.; Pattie (Fechtel) Parris, Jefferson City; Joe Kilburn, Leavenworth, Kan.; Marilyn (Bexten) Curtit, Jefferson City; and Donna (Yancey) Breuer, Little Rock, Ark. Mr. and Mrs. Bexten have two children: Tricha Gaines and her husband Sam, and Shawn Bexten and his wife Christie, Jefferson City. They also have six grandchildren: Zach Schmidt, Ashley Lensing, Logan Gaines, Chase Bexten, Dylan Gaines, and Trey Gaines; and two great-grandchildren: Jackson Daniel Lensing and Harlow June Schmidt.
