Mr. and Mrs. Martin Baumhoer, Jefferson City, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary September 9 with an anniversary blessing at St. Francis Xavier Church, Jefferson City, followed by a reception at the Elks Lodge, Jefferson City, hosted by their children. Martin Baumhoer and Marlene Struttman were married September 7, 1957, at St. Francis Xavier Church, Jefferson City. Rev. Bernard Mers officiated. They were attended by Rita (Backes) Bonnet, Jefferson City; Theresa (Woehr) Rehagen, Westphalia; Norman Baumhoer, deceased; and Herman Junior Massman, Jefferson City. Mr. and Mrs. Baumhoer have five children: Belinda Luadzers and her husband Randy, Dale Baumhoer and his wife Suzanne, Janel Edgel and her husband Ralph, Glen Baumhoer and his wife Kim, and Chrisie Baumhoer, all of Jefferson City. They also have 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and expecting an additional three great-grandchildren.
