Mr. and Mrs. Michael Haeffner, Jefferson City, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary April 7 with a party for family and friends at the home of their son, Matt Haeffner, hosted by their children. Michael Haeffner and Susan Kormann were married April 6, 1968, at Central United Church of Christ, Jefferson City. Rev. Robert Herrmann officiated. They were attended by Pam Schowengerdt White, Lake Ozark; and Dennis Hackmann, Morrison. Mr. and Mrs. Haeffner have two children: Matt Haeffner (Kathleen Haeffner), Henley; and Paula Haeffner Marcum (Chris Wolters), Columbia. They also have six grandchildren: Michael Marcum, McKayla Marcum Honda, Alex Marcum, Cameron Haeffner, Devin Haeffner, and Alyssa Haeffner; and four great-grandchildren: Chance Pokorney, Amelia Marcum, Mia Zimmer-Marcum, and Edith Honda.
