Mr. and Mrs. Larry Kliethermes, Jefferson City, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with a dinner for family and friends at the Westphalia Lion's Hall. Larry Kliethermes and Martha Buechler were married April 20, 1968 at Holy Family Church, Freeburg. The late Msgr. Bernard A. Timpe officiated. They were attended by Carol (Buechler) Sandbothe, Jefferson City; Mary Ann (Buechler) Wildhaber, Freeburg; Karen Haslag, Jefferson City; Irvin Kliethermes, Greenwood, Ind.; Joseph Buechler, deceased; Larry Bexten, Jefferson City; Carol Kliethermes, and Thomas Kliethermes. Mr. and Mrs. Kliethermes have three children: Scott Kliethermes, Westphalia; Eric (Emily) Kliethermes and Ryan (Robin) Kliethermes, Koeltztown. They also have six grandchildren: Logan and Alexandra Kliethermes, Madison and Evan Kliethermes, and Nolan and Joseph Kliethermes.
