Mr. and Mrs. John Kleffner, Wardsville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a mass and dinner at St. Stanislaus, Wardsville, hosted by their four daughters and their families. They also celebrated with a family trip to Texas in June. John Kleffner and Linda Bruemmer were married August 3, 1968 at St. Stanislaus, Wardsville. Msgr. Charles Patterson officiated. Mr. and Mrs. Kleffner have four children: Jennifer Runge, Wardsville; Suzette Mertens and her husband Brian, Wardsville; Amy Luebbert and her husband Jason, St. Martins; and Melissa Kleffner-Wansing and her husband Dale, Wardsville. They also have 11 grandchildren: Veronica Carr, Francy Runge, Hailey Mertens, Dustin Luebbert, Spencer Mertens, Olivia Luebbert, Logan Runge, Joseph Wansing, Makayla Luebbert, Jonathon Wansing, and Parker Wansing; and three great-grandchildren: Bailee Winkelman, Sammi Carr, Kenzi Carr.
