Tara Fennewald and Zachary Caldwell, both of Columbia, were married at 2 p.m., April 14, at St. Francis Xavier Church, Taos. Rev. Greg Meystrik performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Les and Loretta Fennewald, Taos. The groom is the son of Tim and Rhonda Caldwell, Leonard. The bride was given in marriage by her father. The honor attendant was Lindsey Buschjost, Kansas City, friend of the couple. The attendants were Erin Fennewald, Taos, sister of the bride; Stephanie Tucker, Bolivar, friend of the couple; Holly Heckemeyer, St. Elizabeth, sister of the bride; Brianna Ball, Columbia, friend of the couple; Jessica Fennewald, Warrensburg, sister of the bride; and Haley Hardy, Shelbyville, sister of the groom. The best man was Jace Caldwell, Collinsville, Ill., brother of the groom. The groomsmen included Tate Caldwell, Leonard, brother of the groom; Alex Daniel, Tuscon, Ariz., friend of the couple; Caleb Heckemeyer, St. Elizabeth, brother-in-law of the bride; Dakota Mettes, Columbia, friend of the couple; Evan Loudenslager, Kirkwood, friend of the couple; and Bub Hardy, Shelbyville, brother-in-law of the groom. The miniature bride was Brenna Hardy, daughter of Bub and Haley Hardy, Shelbyville, niece of the groom. The ushers were Caleb Heckemeyer, St. Elizabeth, brother-in-law of the bride; Evan Loudenslager, Kirkwood, friend of the couple. The pianist was Barb Hood, Taos, and the vocalist was Kaylin Berendzen, Marys Home. The lector was Traci Rich, Shelbyville, godmother of the groom. Offertory was presented by Rose Buechter, St. Elizabeth, godmother/aunt of the bride; Lyle Buechter, St. Elizabeth, uncle of the bride; Caroline Buechter, St. Elizabeth, cousin of the bride; and Daniel Buechter, Warrensburg, cousin of the bride. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at The Millbottom. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held April 13 at Arris' Pizza. After a wedding trip to Florida, the couple resides in Columbia.
