Madelyn Logan Marie Fisher, Jefferson City, and James Henry Bernskoetter, Wardsville, were married at 1 p.m., July 8, 2017, at Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury, Fulton. Pastor Chad Horton performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Deanna and Brent Hemphill, Jefferson City. The groom is the son of Marvin and Shirley Bernskoetter, Wardsville. Given in marriage by her step-father, the bride wore a white ballgown with a sweep train. The lace bodice featured three-quarter length sleeves and a sweetheart neckline, embellished with sequins and pearls. She carried a clutch bouqet of white stock, Queen Anne's lace, green hypericum berries, white waxflower, light blue delphinium, tree fern, and eucalyptus. The honor attendant was Becca Bentlage, Jefferson City, sister-in-law of the bride. The attendants were Kristian Starner, Kansas City, friend of the bride; Kayleen Frazier, Jefferson City, friend of the couple; and Lexie Blake, Loose Creek, cousin of the bride. They wore light blue floor-length gowns with a lace bodice. The best men were Reid Gilbert and Logan Schulte, both of Jefferson City, friends of the couple. The groomsmen included Caleb Yahnig, New Bloomfield, friend of the couple; and Trenton Roach, Kansas City, friend of the couple. The miniature bride was Landrie Hemphill, daughter of Brent and Deanna Hemphill, Jefferson City, sister of the bride. The miniature groom was Brody Schwindel, son of Adam and Laura Schwindel, Jefferson City, nephew of the groom. The flower girls were Abigehl Bernskoetter and Ella Bernskoetter, daughters of John and Laurie Bernskoetter, Wardsville, nieces of the groom. The ring bearer was Teague Schwindel, son of Adam and Laura Schwindel, Jefferson City, nephew of the groom. The ushers were John Bernskoetter, Wardsville, brother of the groom; Adam Schwindel, Jefferson City, brother-in-law of the groom; and Garrett Bentlage, Jefferson City, brother of the bride. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at The Millbottom, Jefferson City. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held July 7, 2017, at Madison's Cafe, Jefferson City. The bride is a 2014 graduate of Calvary Lutheran High School, Jefferson City, and attended Lincoln University. She is an infant and toddler teacher at Bright Start Academy, Columbia. The groom is a 2012 graduate of Calvary Lutheran High School, Jefferson City, and a 2016 graduate of Westminster College, Fulton, with a B.A. Political Science degree. He is currently attending the University of Missouri School of Law. After a wedding trip to Cancun, the couple resides in Columbia.
