Lauren Brune, Westphalia, and Colby Stuecken, Freeburg, were married at 1:30 p.m., October 7, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia. Father Bill Debo performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Steve and Karla Brune, Westphalia. The groom is the son of Mark and Kay Stuecken, Freeburg. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a fit and flare lace halter gown with illusion back and cathedral train. She completed her ensemble with a triangle veil with hand sewn crystals on each corner. She carried a bouquet of white anemones, succulents, brunei berries and peach roses. The honor attendant was Grace Brune, Westphalia, sister of the bride. The attendants were Bridget Rehagen, Freeburg, sister of the groom; Gina Rowden, Rich Fountain, friend of the bride; Rae Muff, Mesa, Ariz., friend of the bride; Sara Lingow, St. Louis, friend of the bride; Kourtney Engele, Nashville, Ill., friend of the bride; and Kaitlin Krisik, St. Louis, friend of the bride. They wore floor-length chiffon halter dresses in dusty rose and lilac. The best man was Clayton Stuecken, Freeburg, brother of the groom. The groomsmen included Grant Stuecken, Freeburg, brother of the groom; Art Fick, Rich Fountain, friend of the groom; Derek Holtmeyer, Rich Fountain, friend of the groom; Chris Schnieders, Rich Fountain, friend of the groom; Evan Neuner, Rich Fountain, friend of the groom; and Christian Brune, Freeburg, brother of the bride. The miniature bride was Nora Rehagen, daughter of Dave and Bridget Rehagen, Freeburg, niece of the groom. The miniature groom was Nate Rehagen, son of Dave and Bridget Rehagen, Freeburg, nephew of the groom. The flower girl was Kamryn Stuecken, daughter of Clayton and Ashley Stuecken, Freeburg, niece of the groom. The ring bearer was Owen Stuecken, son of Clayton and Ashley Stuecken, Freeburg, nephew of the groom. The ushers were Nolan Brune, Westphalia, brother of the bride, and David Rehagen, Freeburg, brother-in-law of the groom. The organist was Annette Poettgen, Freeburg, friend of the couple. The vocalists were Sarah Juergensmeyer, Argyle, cousin of the groom, and Krista Verhoff, Loose Creek, cousin of the groom. The Mass servers were Max and Ava Stuecken, Freeburg, and Anna Eichholz, Westphalia. The lector was Brittiany Cavender, St. Louis, cousin of the bride. Offertory was presented by Chris and Sandy Hentges, Wardsville, godparents of the groom, and Todd and Ruthie Eichholz, Westphalia, uncle and aunt of the bride. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at the Lions Hall, Westphalia. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held October 6, 2017, at their home in Freeburg. The bride is a 2010 graduate of Fatima High School, Westphalia, and a 2016 graduate of St. Louis College of Pharmacy, St. Louis, with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. She is a Pharmacist at Schnucks, Columbia. The groom is a 2009 graduate of Fatima High School, Westphalia; a 2013 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with an Architectural Studies degree; and a 2015 graduate of the University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kan., with a Master of Architecture degree. He is an intern architect at the Missouri Department of Conservation. After a wedding trip to Savannah, Ga. and Charleston, S.C., the couple resides in Freeburg.
