Mr. and Mrs. Hugo J. Brandt, Linn, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary July 11 with a family dinner at their home, hosted by their children. They are also planning a trip to Branson in the fall. Hugo J. Brandt and Reta E. Keilholz were married July 11, 1953, at Most Pure Heart of Mary Church, Chamois. The late Reverend Anthony Grellner officiated. They were attended by Patricia M. Morton, Chamois, and Alphonse H. Brandt, deceased. Mr. and Mrs. Brandt have nine children: Melvin Brandt and his wife Patsy, Chamois; Nelson Brandt and his wife Jean, Chamois; Marie Heston and her husband Mark, Keokuk, Iowa; Jane Dudenhoeffer and her husband Mark, Linn; Linda Fick and her husband Matt, Chamois; Patricia Haslag and her husband Jim, Linn; Dennis Brandt and his wife Carol, Chamois; Dale Brandt and Jennifer Brandt, both deceased. They also have 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
